Psalms WIth Purpose For Young People- Psalms 13: 1-2, 5

Here’s a practical example to help understand-

Psalms 13: 1-2,5

How long will You hide Your face from me?

How long will my enemy exalt himself and triumph over me?

But I have trusted and relied on and been confident in Your lovingkindness and faithfulness;

My heart shall rejoice and delight in Your salvation.

Imagine you’re feeling hopeless and alone. You have a troubling situation that you face every day, such as a bully at school, or a person who is making your life difficult, and it feels like no one is there to help you. You feel like God has turned His back on you.

It's important to remember that God is always with you. Even when you feel alone, He is still there. He has not turned His back on you and He understands your suffering.

Even though it may seem as if God isn’t paying attention to you or doesn’t care, He is carefully working on things you’re not even aware of, which will help you. Reading Psalms 13: 1-2, 5 reminds you of God's faithfulness and love.

Here are some things you can do:

Talk to your parents or a trusted adult. Express your feelings and ask for their help.

Spend time in prayer. Tell God that you are feeling sad and alone and ask Him to help you.

Listen to uplifting music or read a devotional book. This can help you to feel stronger and more hopeful.

Surround yourself with positive people. Talk to friends, family, or a counselor if you need to.

Remember:

God is always with you, even when you feel alone.

His lovingkindness and faithfulness are always there.

You can trust in His salvation.

By following these steps, you can find strength and peace in difficult times.
